Job Title – Graduate Engineer
Project – Mixed Projects
Job Location – Cork
Salary – €30,000 - €35,000
About the Company
An excellent opportunity has come for a graduate engineer to work with one of the busier contractors in Munster. They currently have multiple projects across Cork and are looking for a graduate engineer to work across several sites. Potential for continued work with this contractor as well as gaining valuable experience.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Report to Site Manager
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Monitor facilities and analyse operational data
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Senior Site Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Confident in your ability to work alongside other trades
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
