Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Co Louth
The Company
Building contractor with companies in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the UK, are on the lookout for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the Dublin commercial team, you will be provided with strong support, mentoring and guidance by the Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide you with the tools, knowledge and experience to develop you as a professional quantity surveyor. You will only be working on building projects, predominantly residential. This contractor has a portfolio of some of the most prestigious housing developments.
The Role
- Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Ensure sub-contractors are pre-qualified in accordance with management systems
- Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
- Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
- Preparation of Interim valuations and final account
- Managing and valuing variations
- Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
- Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals and yourself
What you need
- Degree Qualified
- Full clean driver license
- Proficient in Microsoft and Excel.
