Groundworks Foreman – Kilkenny

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Groundworks Foreman, for projects based mainly in Kilkenny but also in Carlow and Tipperary. It is vital that the successful candidate must ensure that the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client and his professional team with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget. The client has over 10 years in the industry and a wealth of experience within their team. The client sets the standard that every project will be finished before the deadline and quality will never be wavered.

Groundworks Foreman Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe place of work that complies with current legislation.
• Run the site as directed by the Project Management Plan.
• Responsible for supervising and co-ordinating teams of direct labour and specialist sub-contractors and sub contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines the contract.
• Assist with providing information for completion of daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
• Assist in emergency situations as directed by site management.
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to, as outlined in method statements and risk assessments
• Attend sub contractors’ meetings and site staff meetings.
• Liaise with the site management team passing on relevant information on regular basis.
• Co-ordinate the works in accordance with the relevant programme of works.
• Be aware of responsibilities from the HSEQ policies

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• CSR Card or Safe pass
• 5+ years’ experience as a foreman or site manager
• General civils experience
• Experience working with heavy machinery
• Experience in groundworks
