H&S Officer – Dublin

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer, the client is flexible with location as they have projects in both projects in North and South Dublin. The candidate will work for a Building and Civil Engineering Contractor who have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client is able to offer the successful candidate opportunity to work on multi-million projects and grow their knowledge and skills.

The successful candidate will need to have a degree / diploma or qualification in Health & Safety and ideally have experience working in the construction industry.

 

H&S Officer Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
  • Regularly attend sites completing inspections and audits
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed regarding findings of site walks
  • Keep updated with current policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety
  • Ensure any specific requirements submitted by the client are met and exceeded
  • Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site
  • Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
  • Coordinate training courses
  • Assist the site team with any emergencies
  • Report any accidents or incidents that happen on site
  • Maintain PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
  • Complete Health & Safety briefings
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Provide updates to the Health & Safety Manager

 

H&S Officer Specification:

  • Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
  • Ideally 6 months or more experience in a similar position
  • Driven and Motivated
  • Extremely organised
  • Strong communicator
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
