Inform3 are recruiting a Health and Safety Officer for a growing medium-size contractor highly experienced in new builds, restoration refurbishment and fit out project management maintenance. Frequently involved in projects of €500k - €5m. They are proven to be available to carry out works within flexible working hours to facilitate client and customer needs while maintaining a high health and safety standard.
Job Title: Health & Safety Officer
Job Location: Galway
Salary: €45k-€55k

The role:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager
- Keep staff aware of Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
- Uphold PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
- Carry out method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
- Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
Job requirements:
- Health & Safety qualification
- Full Driving License
- 3+ years in a relevant position
- NEBOSH certification desired
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
