Head of Operations Cork/Hybrid
Our client based in Cork has an immediate requirement to recruit a Head of Operations to join their team.
The scope of the role will be to manage the delivery of projects from conception to completion, managing a team of Project Managers and Contracts Managers overseeing all aspects of the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of various Electrical projects nationwide.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Electrical Operations Manager, or a Senior Electrical Project Manager / Electrical Contracts Manager with extensive commercial experience looking for the next step.
Responsibilities
- Management of the Electrical Operations team
- Plan, develop and implementing the strategy for the operational management of project delivery to ensure that the agreed organisational performance plans are met within the agreed budgets and timescales
- Responsible for issue resolution activities with clients and subcontractors
- Managing and controlling departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Production of Risk and Method Statements
Requirements
- Significant experience in a Senior/Leadership position within the Electrical Sector
- Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work on initiatives at both strategic and macro level
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Proven experience in developing and implementing and reporting on robust processes and procedures to ensure compliance
- The ability to negotiate, influence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong report writing and analysis skills
- Background in Power/Renewables highly desirable
