Health & Safety Advisors / Officers – Dublin

INFORM3 are currently recruiting Health & Safety Advisors / Officers for Dublin. The candidate will work for a large Fit-Out Contractor with fantastic knowledge and skills in the industry. The client is well-known throughout the industry for receiving excellent recognition on their finished projects.

The successful candidates will be given great opportunities to grow and develop with the company. The Health & Safety Advisors / Officers will need previous experience and knowledge in managing health & safety on construction sites.

Previous experience with the fit-out industry is preferred but not essential.

 

Health & Safety Advisors / Officers Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
  • Conduct Site Inspections, Audits and Walks
  • Compete reporting after site visits
  • Ensure whilst on site that all site staff are adhered to Health & Safety regulations
  • Complete COSHH assessments, Method Statements, Toolbox talks, O&M Manuals etc
  • Complete Health & Safety Briefings
  • Ensure any Health & Safety requirements made by the client are met
  • Ensure at all times that each site is safe to work on
  • Organise training for site staff regularly, ensuring they are up to date with courses and certificates
  • Complete paperwork and ensure it is processed for reviews
  • Regularly report back to the Health & Safety Manager with updates
  • Source and maintain appropriate levels of PPE stocks
  • Regularly maintain and keep health and safety policies up to date

 

Health & Safety Advisors / Officers Specification:

  • Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
  • NEBOSH certification – preferred
  • 2 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Motivated to learn and grow within the role
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
