Health & Safety Advisor – Amsterdam
INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor for civils work in Amsterdam. The candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor who have a Senior Management Team with over 50 years of experience and knowledge. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.
The Health & Safety Advisor will be required to have previous experience controlling health & safety on a construction site.
Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager & the Project Manager
- Complete regular site walks, inspections and audits
- Complete reporting on site activity and ensure its is processed for review
- Ensure all staff comply with Health & Safety regulations
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are maintained and updated
- Liaise regularly with Site Management regarding Health & Safety requirements
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Be the point of contact for emergency situations
- Record any “near misses”, incidents / accidents
- Ensure any Health & Safety requirements made by the client are met
- Source and maintain PPE stocks
- Complete Health & Safety briefings
- Attend Site Meetings
Health & Safety Advisor Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
- 3 plus years relevant experience
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Motivated to learn and grow within the role
- Confident in using Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
