INFORM3 are recruiting for a very active contractor for an experienced H&S Advisor to work alongside the site project team on residential projects located in the south of Dublin.
Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
Job Location: South Dublin
Sector: Residential
Salary: €40k-€50k
The role:
- Managing H&S on residential construction sites, reviewing and implement construction stage H&S plans and RAMS, giving constructive and practical feedback to subcontractors on safe working methods and sequencing of works.
- Managing site high risk activities and ensuring robust control measure are in place.
- Delivering Health and Safety Inductions and maintaining accurate records of same.
- Delivering of site briefings and toolbox talks to site teams on H&S critical items.
- Conducting site audits and inspections of site conditions and subcontractor activities and completing written reports for communication with site teams.
Job requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Experienced in chairing various meetings with members of the site team and with subcontractor management personnel to review site issues, upcoming works, and areas of risk, H&S initiatives, and training needs.
- Strong communication skill both verbal and written.
- Good IT knowledge - MSWord and PowerPoint.
- Recognised H&S qualification (preferably to Diploma Level) + additional H&S site specific training.
