INFORM3 are recruiting for a leading construction contractor who is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join its project team in East Cork. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated safety professional with experience in pharmaceutical construction environments to contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile projects while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance.

Health & Safety Advisor Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Health & Safety Management System on site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, client requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Assist project management teams in promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, site management, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site safety performance.

Health & Safety Advisor Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction sector.
  • Previous experience working on pharmaceutical or highly regulated construction projects is essential.
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent).
  • NEBOSH Cert
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong reporting, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full driving licence.
