Health & Safety Advisor
Job Location: Dublin

INFORM3 currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor with 2–4 years’ experience to join an established construction team, covering projects across the Leinster region. The ideal candidate will come from a civil engineering or main contractor background and have strong practical site experience, with the ability to manage Health & Safety responsibilities independently across multiple sites. This would suit someone who is confident working on their own initiative and looking to continue developing their career, rather than someone operating at a senior level.
The role will involve regular travel between sites, so flexibility on location and a full driving licence are essential.
Health & Safety Advisor Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across multiple sites throughout Leinster.
- Carry out regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and relevant Health & Safety standards.
- Assist with the preparation and review of RAMS, safety documentation and site procedures.
- Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to site management and construction teams.
- Assist with toolbox talks, inductions and safety training.
- Monitor site activities and ensure safe systems of work are being followed.
- Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and reports.
- Support the investigation of incidents, near misses and accidents where required.
Health & Safety Advisor Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.
- Background working with a civil engineering contractor, main contractor or similar construction environment.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and construction site requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage Health & Safety responsibilities across multiple sites.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and reporting skills.
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites across Leinster.
