INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor for civils utility projects in Cavan area. The client is renowned civils contractor known for their high-quality workmanship and extremely organised approach to each project that they work on.
Health & Safety Advisor Responsibilities:
- Oversee development of policies/programs and to monitor and maintain effective up to date records in relation to Health, Safety and Compliance regularly.
- Investigate and manage reports and file them accordingly through the reporting system such as accidents and incidents.
- Deal with any health & safety issues that may arise in an efficient and effective way with a professional attitude.
- Ensure that everything recorded is private & confidential ensuring that the rules and regulations are followed.
- Ensuring that on-the-job training records is kept up to date.
- To provide any advice to other staff/team members on relevant information when it may be required.
- Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients.
- Work with the Health & Safety Manager on a regular basis.
Health & Safety Advisor Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent within Construction Management.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in overseeing overall company safety policy.
- Track record in monitoring of multiple sites and various build projects.
- Ideally 3+ years' experience in construction safety.
- Experience of safety in the Irish construction sector or very similar regulatory environment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible to travel across multiple sites.
