Health & Safety Advisors – NI & UK
INFORM3 are currently recruiting Health & Safety Advisors for work in NI and the UK. The candidate will work for a Specialist Construction Contractor who have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.
The client is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for NI and a Health & Safety Advisor for the UK, both candidates will be required to be flexible in travel.
Health & Safety Advisors Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
- Keep updated with current policies and procedures
- Carry out regular site visits, conducting inspections and reports
- Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
- Ensure all site staff adhere to health & safety regulations
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Plan and Coordinate training and maintain records
- Assist in emergency situations
- Maintain PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
- Conduct Health & Safety briefings
- Carry out toolbox talks
- Attend Site Meetings
- Attend Health & Safety Meetings
Health & Safety Advisors Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Qualification
- 1 year plus experience in a relevant position
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
