Health & Safety Assistant Dungannon £22-25K

Duties Include:
- Report to the Health & Safety Officers as you implement and monitor the company’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Assist with the Health & Safety development, performance and maintenance within the organisation.
- Assist with all day-to-day Health & Safety activities.
- To carry out all checks and update all records and to assist with auditing within compliance of HSE requirements such as PPE, Fire Safety etc.
- To make sure you order and maintain storage levels of all PPE to issue to employees.
- Assist in all risk assessments and to and to develop responsible procedures to follow.
- Assist with investigating incidents and accidents to ensure the timely production of corrective and preventative action plans and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and to obtain all the relevant documentation from contractors that is required for HSE.
Essential Criteria:
- 3+ years’ experience of degree equivalent within a Health & Safety Role.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills.
- Ability to hold high standards and levels of confidentiality.
- Experience and understanding of management systems.
- Efficient IT Skills.
