Health & Safety Manager – Dublin
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager for projects based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client that is well known throughout the Building and Civil Engineering Industry. The client is renowned for their high-quality workmanship and extremely organised approach to each project that they work on.
The client is seeking a candidate that is confident in managing a Health & Safety Team, and managing Health & Safety on several projects.
The successful candidate will be required to visit sites and will need to be flexible in travel.
Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Management Team
- Manage Health & Safety Officers
- Be the point of contact for any Health & Safety matters
- Ensure the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures are maintained and updated
- Coordinate and conduct Site Walks, Site Inspections and Site Audits
- Ensure all site paperwork is completed and processed
- Ensure that any incidents on site are reported and plans are made to ensure the incident can be avoided
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety
- Plan and coordinate training for all employees
- Maintain extremely high standards of Health and Safety throughout every project
- Coordinate Health & Safety meetings and briefings
Health & Safety Manager Specification:
- Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
- 5 years’ plus experience in a similar position
- Able to lead and coordinate
- Experienced in managing Health & Safety on Construction projects
- Excellent communicator
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
