Health & Safety Manager – Dublin
INFORM3 are recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to work in Dublin on a number of civils and utility projects. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client that has a fantastic team and a wealth of knowledge. The client has seen continued growth over the last number of years and is seeking to expand upon their current team.
The client is seeking a candidate who is extremely familiar with Health & Safety practices within construction and confident in managing Health & Safety Officers / Advisors.
Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager and Senior Management Team
- Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations
- Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
- Manage Health & Safety Officers / Advisors
- Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
- Ensure that all accidents / incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
- Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
- Attend meetings with Senior Management
- Attend Site Meetings when appropriate
- Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company
Health & Safety Manager Specification:
- Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
- 8 years plus experience in a similar position
- Able manage a Health & Safety team
- Excellent communicator and highly organised
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
