Health & Safety Manager
Job Location: Derry/L’Derry

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for our client who can contribute to the Health & Safety coordination across the organisation, and in addition support and develop their policies to reduce potential risks.

The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certified with a minimum of 5 years experience performing in a similar role within the construction sector.


Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Senior Management Team
  • Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations  
  • Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
  • Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors  
  • Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
  • Ensure that all accidents / incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
  • Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
  • Attend meetings with Senior Management
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company

 
Health & Safety Manager Specification:

  • Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar position
  • Able manage a Health & Safety team
  • Excellent communicator
  • NEBOSH Cert
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full driving licence
