Health & Safety Manager - Croydon

Rightpath recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work in the Crydon area. Our client has continued to develop over the last 10 years and have built a strong standing within the construction industry throughout the UK. The large-scale building contractor has completed developments in excess of £100M. This is an opportunity to go in and implement a H&S strategy tailored to the site. You will have a NEBOSH qualification and a proven track record to carry out the HSE function of on a large-scale new build development, ideally valued over £10M. You will be confident in your ability to develop and maintain ISO accredited HSE management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Balance both Quality and Health and Safety matters
- Advise management & staff on safety, health & environmental matters
- Manage, devise and maintain Quality and Environmental procedures, processes, standards and specifications in relation to ISO9001
- Investigate accidents and incidents
- Conduct site inspections.
- Conduct accident investigations
- Conduct audits as required; planned and investigative
- Supervision and coordination of work systems
- Support the management of practices to ensure that working conditions are safe
