Health & Safety Officer / Advisor – Down
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer / Advisor for work in Down. The candidate will work for a Contractor with specialist knowledge in the Construction industry and currently seeking to expand their team. The client requires a Health & Safety Officer / Advisor with previous experience in working within the construction industry and confident in conducting site inspections, audits and developing procedures and regulations.
Health & Safety Officer / Advisor Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager
- Remain up-to-date with current health & safety policies and procedures
- Liaise with Site Teams regularly and be the point of contact for Health & Safety
- Conduct site inspections, audits, site walks and reports
- Complete all relevant paperwork and ensure it is processed and actioned
- Ensure Health & Safety has a major presence on site
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Conduct Health & Safety briefings
- Attend Site Meetings
- Liaise with the client and ensure any requirements are met
- Complete any other relevant duties
Health & Safety Officer / Advisor Candidate Specification:
- Health & Safety background
- 1 plus years in a relevant position
- NEBOSH certification
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
