Health & Safety Officer / Advisor – Cork
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer / Advisor for projects in Cork. The candidate will work for a client with a long history within the construction industry with a fantastic reputation. The client takes great interest in their staff and values hard work which they reward in kind with the opportunity to grow and progress within the company.
The client is seeking a Health & Safety Officer / Advisor to join their team and who has previous experience in managing health & safety on construction projects.
Health & Safety Officer / Advisor Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager
- Complete daily Site Visits, Inspections and Audits
- Complete paperwork and reporting
- Ensure the Site is safe for the team to work on
- Ensure the Site Teams adhere to health and safety at all times
- Complete Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc
- Conduct Health & Safety briefings
- Ensure all site members have been fully site inducted
- Liaise with the Site Management team in regards to any potential hazards or barriers
- Regularly maintain and keep health and safety policies up to date
- Liaise with project managers regarding current contracts and their requirements
- Ensure all staff is well equipped with PPE
- Coordinate training for the site teams
Health & Safety Officer / Advisor Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree or Qualification
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Able to work independently
- Confident in using Microsoft office
- Self-starter
- Motivated to learn and grow within the role
- Full Driving License
