Health & Safety Officer – Dublin
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for work on Commercial projects in Dublin. The candidate will work for an extremely reputable Building Contractor with an extensive number of live projects. The client is extremely hard working and safety conscious, ensuring that projects finish on time and as safely as possible.
The successful candidate will have a background in completing site audits, site inspections and site walks on construction sites.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager and Senior Management
- Carry out site reports through regular site visits, inspections and audits
- Ensure the company is aligned with current Health & Safety regulations by remaining up to date with current policies and procedures
- Liaise with Senior Management and Site teams in regards to any potential hazards or risks and ensure their safety is continually made a priority
- Ensure all site staff adhere to Health & Safety at all times
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Manage training for all staff
- Organise Health & Safety briefings
- Attend Site Meetings
- Check levels of PPE, ensuring staff are well equipped
Health & Safety Officer Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree or Qualification
- 3 - 5 years in a similar position
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Confident in communication
- Able to work independently
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
