Health & Safety Officer – Dublin

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for civils work initially in Dublin and further work across Ireland. The candidate will work for a client with great depth of experience and knowledge within the Civil Engineering Industry and seeking to expand upon their team

The successful candidate will come from a Health & Safety Background and have previous experience conducting Health & Safety activities on a construction site.


Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager and Senior Site Management
  • Complete regular site inspections and audits
  • Ensure all site staff comply with Health & Safety policies
  • Liaise with Site Management in regards to any Health & Safety requirements
  • Conduct Health & Safety briefings
  • Be on hand for any emergency situations and provide assistance
  • Complete Method statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc.
  • Organise training for staff when needed and maintain records
  • Complete Health & Safety paperwork
  • Source and maintain PPE stocks
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Provide reports on any accidents / incidents or “near misses”


Health & Safety Officer Specification:

  • Health & Safety Degree, Qualification or Diploma
  • 2 – 3 years plus experience
  • NEBOSH certification – preferred
  • Organised individual and excellent communicator
  • Self-starter that is able to work within a team and independently
  • Motivated to learn and grow within the role
  • Confident in using MS Office
  • Full Driving License
