Health & Safety Officer – Kildare
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for a project in Kildare. The candidate will work for a Building and Civil Engineering Contractor who have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in Health and Safety policies and procedures and implementing them throughout site.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
- Keep updated with current policies and procedures
- Conduct Site Walks, Inspections and Audits
- Regularly liaise with Management regarding Health & Safety requirements for the site
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Plan and Coordinate training and ensure records are updated
- Assist in any emergency situations on site
- Complete Health & Safety briefings with the site teams
- Maintain PPE Stocks
- Attend Site Meetings
- Regularly meet with the Health & Safety Manager
Health & Safety Officer Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
- 1 year plus experience in a similar position
- Self-Starter
- Motivated
- Able to work within a team
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
