Health & Safety Officer – County Down and Dublin
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for work County Down and in Dublin. The candidate will work for a Building Contractor who have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in Health and Safety policies and procedures and implementing them throughout site.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
- Keep updated with current policies and procedures
- Liaise with Site Management regarding Health and Safety requirements for site
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Plan and Coordinate training and maintain records
- Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
- Maintain PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
- Complete site inductions
- Complete toolbox talks
- Attend Health & Safety Meetings
- Attend Site Meetings
- Assist in emergency situations
Health & Safety Officer Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Qualification
- 2 years or more relevant experience
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
