Tier 1 Building Contractor, overseeing a Signature Project, strong salary and benefits

Rightpath Construction Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Officer to work with a leading Building Construction company. The contractors building projects include; Healthcare, Pharma, Education & Residential schemes up to the value of €100M. Established for over 80 years our client has an excellent client base and has always prided itself in making the workplace as safe as possible. The company are always keen to develop their staff with both in house and professional training. They have a €45M project that is soon to commence in Dublin and require the Safety Officer to be based on Site 3 days a week.

The job role of Health & Safety Officer

• Update and maintain health and safety policies
• Liaise with project manager
• Raise Health & Safety awareness amongst our management and labour force and implement requirements necessary for our obligations, which may include; Method statements, toolbox talks 
• Organise training needed and maintain records
• Site visits, assessments and reporting
• Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
• Source and maintain PPE stocks

Qualifications & Requirements of Health & Safety Officer:

• Health & safety related degree or similar or NEBOSH certification
• Proven Track Record with Major Projects
• Passion for the role and to work in the construction industry
• Able to work independently and use initiative
