Site Health and Safety Officer
Job Location: Kerry

Inform3 are recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to join a busy contractor working on a large Pharma project in Kerry.
The client is seeking Health and Safety Officer to join their expanding team. They are looking for someone that is able to handle responsibility and work off their own initiative in a busy working environment.
The Role
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager
- Keep staff aware of Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
- Carry out Audits on site and relay results to senior management
- Devise and implement strategies to improve H&S on site and in office
- Uphold PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
- Carry out method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
- Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
Requirements
- Health & Safety background
- Full Driving License
- Understanding ISO Management Systems
- 3+ years in a relevant position
- NEBOSH certification desired
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
