Health & Safety Officer – Meath & Dublin

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for roads and general civil projects in Meath and Dublin. The candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor who have a Senior Management Team with over 50 years of experience and knowledge. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.

The successful candidate will need to have a great interest in Health & Safety and be well versed in the policies and procedures for Health & Safety on construction sites.

 

Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

  • Report into the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies are maintained and updated
  • Communicate daily with Site Management in regards to current contracts and requirements
  • Ensure Health and Safety awareness is raised amongst management and the labour force
  • Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
  • Schedule and organise training and maintain records
  • Coordinate site visits, assessments and reporting
  • Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
  • Source and maintain PPE stocks

 

Health & Safety Officer Specification:

  • Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
  • 2 plus years relevant experience
  • NEBOSH certification - preferred
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
  • Motivated to learn and grow within the role
  • Full Driving License
