Health & Safety Officer – Meath
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for work in Meath. The candidate will work for a Building and Civil Engineering Contractor, with an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures for the construction industry.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
- Carry out Site Inspections and Audits
- Complete paperwork regarding findings of site activities
- Keep updated with current policies
- Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Plan and Coordinate training and maintain records
- Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
- Provide assistance in emergency situations
- Maintain PPE Stocks
- Attend Site Meetings
- Complete Health & Safety Briefings and Toolbox talks
Health & Safety Officer Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
- 2 years plus in a similar position
- Excellent Communicator
- Highly organised
- Driven and Motivated
- Team Oriented
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
