Health & Safety Officer – North Dublin

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for work in North Dublin. The candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor who have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry. The client is seeking a candidate with a background in Health and Safety specifically working on previous civil projects.

The successful candidate will need to have experience in Health and Safety policies, procedures and site inspections.

 

Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:

  • Regularly report into the Health & Safety Manager
  • Keep updated and aligned with health & safety policies and procedures
  • Liaise with Senior Management and Site teams to ensure they are aware of Health and Safety requirements for site
  • Ensure Health and Safety is implemented throughout site
  • Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
  • Plan training for the site team and maintain records
  • Carry out site visits, assessments and reporting
  • Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
  • Maintain PPE Stocks, ensuring staff have sufficient equipment
  • Complete any other duties as and when required

 

Candidate Specification:

  • Health & Safety background
  • 3 plus years in a relevant position
  • Previous experience in working on a construction site
  • NEBOSH certification
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
