Health & Safety Officer
Job Location: Frankfurt

INFORM3 are seeking an experienced Civils Health & Safety Officer for data centre construction projects in Frankfurt.
Flights and accommodation will be provided with 10/4 rotation.
The successful candidate will oversee and enforce health and safety compliance across civil works packages, ensuring adherence to German regulations and data centre–specific safety standards.
This role requires on-site presence and proven experience working within live or hyperscale data centre environments in the Frankfurt region.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with German HSE legislation and site-specific safety procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks
- Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for civil works
- Coordinate with site management, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure safe systems of work
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances; prepare detailed reports
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and site records
- Ensure compliance with data centre client safety standards and expectations
- Support continuous improvement of safety performance on site
Health & Safety Officer Specification:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on data centre projects in Frankfurt
- Strong background in civil construction works (groundworks, concrete, structural packages, external works)
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or German equivalent such as SiGeKo certification)
- Strong knowledge of German health and safety regulations (ArbSchG, BaustellV, etc.)
- Experience working in live or mission-critical environments
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive and assertive approach to site safety
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills
