Health & Safety Officers (At all levels) – Dublin
INFORM3 are currently recruiting Health & Safety Officers from Junior to Senior level for work on commercial and residential projects in Dublin. The candidates will work for a large building contractor that has a number of multi-million projects across Dublin. The client is seeking Health & Safety professionals with a previous degree or diploma and experience on construction sites.
Health & Safety Officers Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager and Health & Safety Manager
- Regularly maintain and keep health and safety policies up to date
- Conduct site visits, audits and inspections
- File relevant paperwork regarding site visits
- Ensure specific requirements for each site are highlighted amongst the various site teams
- Raise Health & Safety awareness amongst our management and labour force and implement requirements necessary for our obligations, which may include; Method statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc.
- Organise training when needed and maintain records
- Source and maintain PPE stocks
- Conduct site inductions and health & safety briefings
- Conduct toolbox talks
- Attend Site Meetings
- Assist in emergency situations
Health & Safety Officers Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Diploma
- 1 - 4 years relevant experience
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Motivated to learn and grow within the role
- Full Driving License
