Health & Safety Officers – Dublin
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officers for work in Dublin. The candidate will work for a large Building & Fit-Out Contractor with continued success in the construction industry. The client is seeking to expand upon their team and provide a fantastic opportunity for ambitious Health & Safety Officers with previous experience in construction.
The successful candidates will need to have past knowledge and experience in carrying out site audits, inspections and managing health & safety on site.
Health & Safety Officers Responsibilities:
- Liaise regularly with the Health & Safety Manager and Senior Site Management
- Carry out Site Inspections and Audits ensuring any potential hazards or risks are reported
- Maintain a high level of Health & Safety on site
- Be on hand for emergency situations
- Complete reports on “near misses” or accidents/incidents
- Complete Method statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc.
- Coordinate training for all staff when necessary
- Coordinate Health & Safety briefings
- Attend Site meetings
- Ensure staff have sufficient levels of PPE
- Ensure all Health & Safety paperwork is completed and processed for reviews
Health & Safety Officers Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree or Qualification
- 3 years plus experience in a similar position
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Strong communicator
- Confident in working independently and within a team
- Confident in using MS Office
- Motivated to learn and grow within the role
- Full Driving License
