Health & Safety Officers – Dublin
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officers for work across Dublin. The candidate will work for a Building Contractor who have a Senior Management Team with over 50 years of experience and knowledge. The client takes extreme pride in all of their projects and is known to always exceed their own client’s expectations.
The successful candidate will need to have a great interest in Health & Safety and be well versed in the policies and procedures for Health & Safety on construction sites.
Health & Safety Officers Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Health & Safety Manager and Project Manager
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are maintained and updated
- Organise and complete site visits, audits and inspections
- Complete reports upon site visit findings
- Communicate daily with Project Managers in regards to current contracts and requirements
- Ensure Health and Safety awareness is raised amongst every site member
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Schedule and organise training and maintain records
- Coordinate site visits, assessments and reporting
- Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
- Source and maintain PPE stocks
- Assist in emergency meetings
- Attend Site Meetings
- Complete Site inductions and toolbox talks
- Attend Health & Safety briefings
Health & Safety Officers Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree / Diploma / Qualification
- 3 years plus relevant experience
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Motivated to learn and grow within the role
- Able to multi-task
- Full Driving License
