Health & Safety Officer Intermediate to Senior Levels – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Officers from Intermediate to Senior Level. The candidate will work for a Building and Civil Engineering Contractor who have an extensive amount of experience and knowledge within the industry.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in Health and Safety policies and procedures and implementing them throughout site. They should be experienced in working on Building Sites.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager
- Keep updated with current policies and procedures
- Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site and its presence
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Plan and Coordinate training and maintain records
- Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
- Provide information to support pre-qualification requirements for various clients
- Maintain PPE Stocks, ensuring staff are well equipped for site work
- Complete any other duties as and when required
Candidate Specification:
- Health & Safety background
- 3 plus years in a relevant position
- NEBOSH certification - preferred
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
