HSEQ Manager – Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a HSEQ Manager, that can be based in Dublin, Cork or Offaly. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client that is well known throughout the Building industry. The client is renowned for their high-quality workmanship and extremely organised approach to each project that they work on.

The client is seeking a candidate who is extremely familiar with Health & Safety practices within construction and confident in managing Health & Safety Officers / Advisors.

The successful candidate will be required to visit sites and will need to be flexible in travel.

 

Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager
  • Manage, update and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Develop all Health and Safety plans, highlighting any specific requirements for each project
  • Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
  • Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors, continuously maintain a clear line of communication
  • Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
  • Ensure that all accidents / incidents are recorded, investigated and action plans are put in place for the future
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
  • Prepare and coordinate training for all employees, ensuring all staff are up to date
  • Attend meetings with Senior Management
  • Attend Site Meetings
  • Attend and Chair Health & Safety Meetings
  • Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company

 

Health & Safety Manager Specification:

  • Health and Safety Degree / Qualification / Diploma
  • 8 years plus experience in a similar position
  • Able manage a Health & Safety team
  • Excellent communicator
  • Driven and Motivated
  • Able to multi-task
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Full driving licence
