HSEQ Manager
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager for projects throughout across Ireland with majority or project focused between Belfast and Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client that is well known throughout industry. The client is renowned for their high-quality workmanship and extremely organised approach to each project that they work on.
The client is seeking a candidate who is extremely familiar with Health & Safety practices within construction and confident in managing Health & Safety Officers / Advisors.
The successful candidate will be required to visit sites and will need to be flexible in travel.
Health & Safety Manager Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Senior Management Team
- Manage and maintain the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Develop all Health and Safety plans to align with current legislations
- Coordinate all Health & Safety activities on various sites
- Manage and coordinate Health & Safety Officers and Advisors
- Ensure that regular Site Visits and Inspections are completed and the relevant paperwork is completed
- Ensure that all accidents / incidents are dealt with appropriately and plans are made to avoid these situations
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in regards to Health & Safety processes within the company
- Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
- Attend meetings with Senior Management
- Attend Site Meetings
- Ensure at all times that extremely high standards are maintained throughout the company
Health & Safety Manager Specification:
- Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
- Able manage a Health & Safety team
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
- Able manage a Health & Safety tea
