Intermediate Quantity Surveyor –Dublin
The Company
Construction company providing preconstruction services, management and consultancy, looking for an intermediate quantity surveyor to join them, working from main office and the sites. You must have 5+ years’ experience working with building contractor and the ability to survey and be responsible for a project. You will report into the Commercial Manager and have good commercial awareness. All projects you will be predominantly working on will be commercial including office and retail units. If you are enthusiastic and eager for a role that will provide you with more autonomy and room to develop your experience this is a good fit for you.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate weekly P&L's and support Commercial Manager & Finance Manager to produce period end financials.
- Work alongside Supply Chain to support engagement with subcontractors and ultimate agreement of profitable and contractually watertight orders.
- To effectively administer the commercial aspects of the contract in accordance with the parameters & exacting timeframes as set out in the contract particulars.
- Agreement of applications for payment & Final Accounts with client.
- Production of dashboard reports to reflect on the key commercial areas under the contract.
- Monthly WIP analysis & cash flow control.
- Monthly production of accurate cost & value forecasting.
Requirements
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying,
- 5 +year experience surveying with building contractor
- Experience running own projects and ability to work independently
- Confident using Microsoft Office Software, in particular Excel
