Quantity Surveyor – Co Wexford
The Company
Civils company based in Wexford have an opportunity for an intermediate quantity surveyor /estimator to join their team. You will work independently and report into the Director, based in the office and travel to sites and there is room for career progression. This subcontractor works for the main irish contractors and is extremely busy with projects on in Dublin/ Carlow/ Wexford, working on commercial / healthcare/ education /data centres.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing Tender Documents and pricing projects
- Ensuring all Variations are recorded and priced
- Preparing Monthly Valuations
- Agreeing Final Accounts
- Monthly Cost Reporting
- Procurement of Materials
- Checking of Invoices
- Materials Reconciliations
- Attend and provide input to all site commercial meetings.
- Estimating Duties
Qualifications
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- 4+years’ experience
- Self-Motivated
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Efficient on Microsoft Packages
