Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Co Carlow
The Company
One of Irelands leading main contractors have a fantastic opportunity in Carlow to manage a project over the value of €10 million. You will report into a Senior Quantity Surveyor, the project will involve complete refurbishment and refit of a site.
You will have the support of a Senior Quantity Surveyor who you will report into, but you will also be provided with opportunity to manage the site on your own. This role will develop your skills and experience and you will be working for a successful tier 1 company which offers longevity in your career.
The Role
- Preparation and updating of contact budget
- Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project
- Liaison with Surveying Manager
- Administration of contract records
- Production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Attendance at contractor handover meeting
- Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Updating of cash reporting and collection
- Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan
- Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
What you need
- Degree in QS/relevant discipline
- 4+ years’ experience
- Self-motivator and ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Packages.
