Intermediate Quantity Surveyor -North Dublin
Medium sized civils company based in North Dublin are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with 3 – 5 years’ experience. Working on projects from €100k -€50m, they were also involved in the €370million cross city Luas Scheme.
Carrying out excavation and demolition works and works on railways this civils company provide steady portfolio of projects working with Irelands top main contractors in all areas, hospitality, residential, commercial, industrial.
The Role
- Identifying, controlling and forecasting timescales, costing and resourcing requirements.
- Identifying and resourcing requirements for projects
- Liaising with the tender team to establish the build sequence and earthworks strategy for each tender. Then preparing tender programmes and graphics to suit, plus pricing preliminaries.
- Attending tender interviews as required including input into presentations.
- The development of Contract, Construction and Design & Procurement programme
- The preparation of sequence graphics for live projects, including detailed Sub-Contract information.
- Regular site visits to monitor progress against the Contract programme and attendance at meetings as necessary.
- Assessment of the programme impact of variations where necessary.
- The preparation of Completion Programmes.
What you need
- Hold Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
- 3-5 years’ experience (civils preferable.)
- Motivated, driven and works well within team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word
