Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – North Down

This developer is a medium sized company who have welcomed substantial growth and success over the last decade. They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor, who enthusiastic in getting their projects up and running. You will be assisting with both small scale projects and upwards, reporting into the Director. This company have both bespoke projects and other residential projects you will have the opportunity to assist in running from beginning to completion.
This role will provide invaluable experience with a developer with projects from £2-9 million all based in the North Down/South Belfast region. Ideally if you have 3-5 years experience in a background of house building.
The Role
- Cost control and monitoring
- Subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Assisting with tenders and completing tenders
- Monthly valuations and variations
- Programming of works
- Contract supervision
- Company development
- Pre and post contract administration
- Subcontractor and supplier claims
- Work with site management and report to Commercial Director
Criteria
- 3-5 years’ experience preferably with residential projects
- Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part as a team
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Degree certified
