Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to work for an excellent well-established Civil Engineering contractor. The contractor has been in business for over 20 years and has delivered exciting projects in Site Development, Demolition, Sports Pitch Development and Wetlands Construction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a reputable and experienced team, gain more knowledge and skills and receive a very competitive salary.
Duties:
- Assisting senior Quantity surveyors with monthly cost/ value reports
- Assisting in the preparation and submitting of monthly valuations
- Assisting in the preparation of final accounts
- Negotiation of accounts and quotations
- Assist with general administration/ management of all staff
- Liaise with members of other times
Criteria:
- BSc degree in quantity Surveying
- 3+ years’ experience in estimating, procurement, valuations and final accounts
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- The ability to work in a team as well as an individual
- The ability to use own initiative
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
