We are currently recruiting a CNC Programmer & operator for an organisation, established for over 40 years that operate on a global scale, this organisation offers design and interior fir-out solutions.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a CNC Machinery Technician in THE joinery workshop industry, your responsibilities will include the setup and maintenance of CNC machinery. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation of CNC equipment, produce high-quality components, and adhere to safety guidelines.

  • Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code languages to produce specific parts and products.
  • Set up CNC machines, including loading raw materials and selecting appropriate cutting tools.
  • Operate CNC machines during production runs, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed.
  • Provide feedback to the production management on product throughput and programming timeframes.
  • Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Inspect machinery at the end of each shift to identify any parts needing repair.
  • Maintain and repair CNC machines as needed, including replacing parts and performing preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep detailed records of machine operations and maintenance.
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals.

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CNC operator or programmer.
  • Ability to read and interpret designs and CAD drawings.
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and using precision measurement tools.
  • Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
  • Attention to detail and results-driven approach.
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Willingness to work after-hours when required.
