Joinery Supervisor – 6 Month Contract - Down

Job Title – Joinery Supervisor – 6 Month Contract

Project – Refurbishment

Job Location – Lisburn

Salary – £35K - £40K + travel

About the Company

Working with a reputable Top 40 Contractor who specialise in delivering high standard social housing developments and Commercial Projects across Northern Ireland.

This project is a £500K Refurbishment development in Co. Down.

The successful candidate will be #1 on site – a great opportunity for an experience Joinery Foreman to progress into site management.

Opportunity to develop into a permanent role for the right candidate

The Role

• Liaise with, coordinate and manage various subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Attend site meetings and host meetings among trades teams.
• Manage multiple teams of trades to handover.  
• Finishing internal building to a high standard and in line with programme.
• Manage and drive labour force.
• Ensure H&S and Company Compliance policies are adhered to by all staff members.
• Plan works accordingly to tie in line with project programme.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman/ Joinery Foreman or Supervisor with a main contractor in Northern Ireland.    
• Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification. (Preferably Joinery or Carpentry)
• Strong sense of ownership over projects and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects while ensuring a high standard of work.
