Junior Civil Engineer
Job Location: North Cork – office based with some travel required
Sector: Civil
Salary - €30 - 35k
Our client is a leading Chartered Civil and Structural Consultancy who require a Junior Civil Engineer to join Engineering team based in North Cork.
Experience and exposure within sectors including residential/retail/office and mixed-use developments is advantageous.
Junior Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the director or Team Leader
- Confident using a range of design packages including AutoCAD
- Conduct design reviews with clients/stakeholders
- Preparation of technical specifications and documents
- Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports drawings and other deliverables
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the design and specification of civil engineering materials
Junior Civil Engineer Criteria:
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role with knowledge of planning, housing, building and fire regulations
- Civil Engineering Degree or another relative degree
- Highly organised and motivated
- Competent on Microsoft Office.
- Full driving license.
