INFORM3 currently recruiting for a Junior Site Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor on a major public realm project in Swords.

The role would suit a Junior Engineer looking to build strong site experience, working alongside an experienced project team and gaining exposure to setting out, QA, site documentation, subcontractor coordination and general civils delivery.

It’s a great opportunity to get involved in a significant project in Swords, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and progress your career within an established civils contractor.

Junior Civil Engineer Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with setting out and surveying works on site.
  • Work closely with the Site Management and Engineering teams to ensure works are delivered to specification.
  • Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate site records.
  • Assist with levels, measurements and technical queries.
  • Monitor and coordinate subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
  • Assist with QA documentation, inspections and reporting.
  • Support the Site Manager and Project Engineer with day-to-day site activities.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across the works.

 

Junior Civil Engineer Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering qualification.
  • Ideally 1+ years’ experience in a Site Engineering role, although strong graduates will be considered.
  • Previous experience on civils, roads or public realm projects is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of setting out and reading technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
  • Full Irish/EU work eligibility.
  • Safe Pass and relevant site tickets.
