Junior Contracts Manager

 

Overview:

CCL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Contracts Manager to join our team. As a Junior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each project is completed within budget and on time, and to the highest standards of quality. CCL operates in various industries, including commercial, industrial, and residential construction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each project is completed within budget and on time.
  • Liaise with the project team and contractors to ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that they deliver work on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential problems, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and quality reports.
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Valid driver's license
