A successful Manufacturing company based in County Armagh are currently on the lookout for a Junior Design Engineer who is looking to pursue a career within manufacturing.

If you are looking to integrate yourself in the Manufacturing industry as a Design Engineer and are involved in transforming and implementing manufacturing processes, then this is the role for you.

Job Description:

• Develop skills and knowledge to be able to help manage and design projects.
• Learning all aspects within the business to help you become more involved and gather experience to become more of an engineer.
• Design detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models for diesel and gas generators.
• To understand the structure and data of BOM, component parts and production routings.
• Be involved in the Quality Reviews and processes that are carried out.
• You will be involved with the R&D Department to help with the projects.
• Ensure that all manual and technical data sheets are kept up to date in line with specification drawings.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field or expecting to Graduate.
• Proficient in 3D CAD systems.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication skills.
• MS Office efficient.
• Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
