A leading Manufacturing company based in County Louth are currently recruiting for a Junior Design Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

The role suits a successful candidate that will be responsible for the planning, organization and directing of technical projects from concept through to the design and manufacturing stages.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain mechanical and electrical design drawings using CAD Software packages.
• Actively source all tools, equipment and materials that are needed for the product production.
• Ability to determine the operational requirements and be able to propose solutions.
• Make sure that all design work is completed and to acceptable standards and confirmed with senior manager.
• Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives
• Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and effectively.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process.

Specifications Required:

• Qualification within Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Environment.
• Ability to use 3D CAD Software packages, such as Solidworks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well and contribute within a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Be proactive and positive in work.
