Job Title – Junior Site Engineer
Project – Commercial and Residential Refurbishments
Job Location – Cork
Salary – €30,000 - €40,000
About the Company
This very busy building and civils company are seeking a junior engineer to join their team in Cork! This will be a full-time permanent role as they have a lot of projects coming up. These will be medium sized refurbishments of commercial and residential developments.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Senior Manager / Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
